Local charity raises funds for Nepal

A local charity has managed to raise a huge amount of money to help those in Nepal affected by the recent earthquake.
The One World Centre held street collections across the Island and has given ?15,800 to the Disasters Emergency Committee.
More than 7,000 people are thought to have been killed in the 7.8 magnitude earthquake last month, with millions left homeless or displaced.
The money has been distributed to aid agencies working to provide shelter, food and medical supplies.
