The rate of inflation rose again last month and is back in positive territory for the first time this year.
According to the Consumer Prices Index, annual inflation rose to 0.1%, up from minus 0.5% in March.
Inflation as measured by the Retail Prices Index was also up.
It now stands at 2.9%, an increase of 1% over the month.
Excluding housing costs, April's RPI is 3% up from the March figure of 1.9%.
The Department of Economic Affairs says both indices have seen a large rise in travel costs this month, due to air fares and car hire prices increasing with a later TT festival in 2015.
Other sectors which have seen a significant rise over the month include domestic electricity tariffs and standing charges, public sector rents and water and sewerage rates.
