KPMG Isle of Man is inviting you to "SaturPlay", an afternoon of fun for children of all ages, and their families, in order to raise funds for Alzheimer's Society Isle of Man.

The event will be held on Saturday, 16th May at the Manx Fun Farm, located on the Liverpool Arms straight from Onchan to Laxey, in conjunction with Dementia Awareness Week which runs from 17th-23rd May.

Admission is ?5, which will include unlimited use of bouncy castles and giant inflatables, a bucking bronco, face painting, fun performances and much more. Purchasing tickets in advance will include entry into a special prize draw. Come along and join in the fun, enjoy the BBQ and a lovely homemade cake or buy something from our quality second-hand toy and book stalls whilst taking comfort that you are helping raise money for a truly worthwhile cause.

Leading the fight against dementia, KPMG’s charity of the year 2015, Alzheimer’s Society, is a UK care and research charity which provides support to people living with dementia and their carers. Established in 1979, it is a membership organisation which improves the quality of life for dementia types which include Alzheimer’s disease, vascular dementia, dementia with Lewy bodies, frontotemporal dementia, Korsakoff's syndrome, Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease, HIV related cognitive impairment, mild cognitive impairment, and other rarer causes of dementia. The charity currently provides a network of over 2000 services in over 230 areas across England, Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland and the Isle of Man.

Commenting on the event, KPMG Director and SaturPlay organiser Simon Nicholas said:

“Summer is on the way and we’ll take any excuse to hold a barbeque and family play day, particularly if we can help to raise funds for our charity of the year, Alzheimer’s Society. This is a vital charity which does untold good for patients and their families across the UK and Isle of Man, so what better way to raise awareness than by holding a family day here and in conjunction with Dementia Awareness Week. We have plenty of activities lined up and the chance to enter our prize draw, so if you’re looking for a brilliant way to spend a Saturday then we look forward to seeing you all.”
