Relocation for town library?

by isleofman.com 7th May 2015

The Henry Bloom Noble Library in Victoria Street, Douglas, could be on the move.

Douglas Corporation wants to relocate the library to the former Top Shop premises on the corner of Duke Street and Lord Street.

As the potential new tenant of the building, which is owned by the Co-op, the local authority has applied for change of use from retail. The building has been vacant since Top Shop moved to a new store in Strand Street.
