Appeal after park wall damaged

Police are currently investigating a report of damage which occurred to the park wall of Derby Square Park, Douglas, sometime over the Bank Holiday weekend, between the afternoon of Friday 1st May to the morning of Tuesday 5th May 2015.

A number of stones were removed from the dry stone wall, causing it to become unstable.

PC Kelly Wilkinson would like any person with information about this to come forward please. The Police would like to offer reassurance to the public that such matters of petty vandalism are taken seriously as they impact on the community. An investigation is ongoing.
