Plans for Douglas prom under spotlight

New plans for Douglas promenade are set to be revealed this afternoon.
Concepts for the prom have ranged from regeneration to potentially removing traffic lights and road markings.
Last week the Department of Infrastructure highlighted some designs by UK urban design specialist Ben Hamilton-Baillie, which are being considered.
After 800 responses to a public consultation last year, the latest proposals are said to reflect the opinions of hoteliers, retailers and Manx residents.
The plans for the ?21 million makeover will go before Tynwald later this month.
