A major redevelopment of Douglas promenade will be unveiled to the public later today.

Last week, the government released a video that highlighted the benefits of paved roads shared by pedestrians and motorists, similar to the part-pedestrianisan of North Quay.

The plans for the promenade, including how the horse tram service will fit into the scheme, will be revealed this afternoon.
