Beach Buddies has had a change of plan and has switched this coming weekend's event which will now take place tomorrow (Saturday, May 2nd) at the NSC in Douglas.

Due to the weather forecast for the weekend, it has been decided to move the event a day forward for a 10.30am start at the NSC, meeting at the car park at the bottom end of the NSC track (closest to the Power Station).

The NSC is a new venue for Beach Buddies and is again being tackled in response to a request from the public.

A number of reports say that the NSC and surrounding area, including the TT Access Road, are in dire need of a clean-up. And, having had a quick look, this is definitely the case, all around the perimeter of the NSC.

We will be there, and it’s mostly due to the ongoing support of our volunteers and sponsors.

• Beach Buddies runs team beach cleaning sessions every weekend, usually on Sunday mornings, lasting a maximum of 90 minutes. All ages are welcome and the necessary equipment is provided by the charity, with all items removed by Beach Buddies, and recycled where possible. We are very grateful to the sponsors who make this possible.
