Pictured left to right are Ivan Bratty, local representative of Anthony Nolan with Ben and Mary Doyle.

They were delighted to be handing over ?755 being the proceeds of a 19 hour swim held at the Western Swimming Pool in Peel recently.

Mary thanked Peel MHK Tim Crookall, Finn Donlan, Karen Winter, Phil Littlejohns, Stacey Robinson, Sian Killey, Ken King, Jan Downward, Paul and Hannah Ellison and the Doyle family for all swimming and raising valuable funds for Anthony Nolan. She also added her appreciation to the staff at the Western Swimming Pool who were terrific support over the 19 hours and everyone that donated to this cause through Just Giving or personal donations.

To become a potential life saver it all starts with a spit or a little bit of blood and can end up changing someone’s life – approximately 22 people on the Isle of Man have been successfully matched with an individual that needs a stem cell transplant.
