Woman attacked by Alsatian

by isleofman.com 29th April 2015

Police are trying to trace the owner of a dog that attacked a woman walking through a wood in Douglas.

She was bitten by a black and tan Alsatian in the Millennium Oakwood at about 9.30am on Monday.

Police say the owner of the dog was a man in his mid-forties wearing a light coloured top and dark trousers who also had with him two black Labradors. The woman says the dog ran towards her before biting her on the arm. She was treated for the injury at Noble's Hospital.

Police are appealing to the owner to come forward or anyone who can help identify him.
