Browne Craine & Co has announced that Basil Bielich and Stuart Foster have been asked by The TAG Alliance (“TAG”) to present at its International conference on 6th May. Taking place in Edinburgh, the conference is expected to attract more than 200 delegates from around the world.
“It’s a great honour to have been invited by TAG,” said Basil. “We’ve been members for over 7 years – being part of the group means we have a global reach enabling us to serve our clients wherever the growth of their business takes them. The conference provides a platform to sell the Isle of Man as a jurisdiction and the benefits of doing business on the Island.”
Established in 1954 and now a leading multi-disciplined independent firm of Chartered Accountants, Browne Craine is a member of The International Accounting Group (“TIAG”), which in turn is part of TAG.
TIAG is a global alliance of independent accounting firms, serving clients in multiple jurisdictions. TIAG members are carefully selected for membership based on their professional competence, commitment to client service, reputation within the business community, and recommendations from existing members. Browne Craine is the only firm based on the Isle of Man to become part of TIAG.
In their presentation, Basil and Stuart will address how traditional offshore centres still deliver significant value to their clients at a time when many are coming under pressure to become more transparent and disclose information about the assets held by their clients living abroad.
“The TAG Alliance gives us access to a global network of knowledgeable experts from trusted professional firms which helps us provide a better quality of service to our clients,” said Stuart. “I’m looking forward to attending the conference as it’s a great place to network, meeting new and familiar faces.”
