Local advocates sponsor youngsters in Cambodia

by isleofman.com 28th April 2015

Local advocates are sponsoring young footballers in Cambodia to compete in a national competition.
Cains Advocates Ltd, based in Douglas, has continued to support under-13s in a deprived Cambodian community.
Charity-funded Aziza school is in the capital Phnom Penh, and the youngsters took part in the Ian Thompson Memorial ISF under 13 and under 10 mixed tournament last month.
Cains has sponsored the school's football programme for six years.
Director Mike Edwards says it aims to echo community support that's here in the Isle of Man.
