Children's poor eyesight not result of video games

by isleofman.com 27th April 2015
A local optician says he's not convinced spending more time in front of screens is harming children's eyesight.
A report published last week said nearly a quarter of 12 to 13-year-olds are now short-sighted, compared to one in ten in the 1960s.
Professor Kathryn Saunders, who published the report, claimed the cause was children spending more time playing video games than being outside.
Local optician Nick Skillicorn says it may have an effect, but there is no other evidence to support this:Clip 1
