Sulby Claddaghs vandalism

by isleofman.com 27th April 2015

Police are hunting vandals who sprayed graffiti on roads, the gable end of a house and road signs in the Sulby Claddaghs area.

The culprits struck between Saturday evening and Sunday morning. Similar graffiti using the same red and white spray paint was also found in two other locations, on Garey Road and at the entrance to the Manx Utilities sub-station on Clanagh Road.

PC Steve Grainger said: 'The graffiti is no more than mindless vandalism which has only caused upset and inconvenience to everyone concerned, from the victims to the people who have to clean up the mess. I would urge anyone with any knowledge to please contact Ramsey police station on 812234 or any police officer.'

Police say in addition to the paint, spray type insulating foam was found on the road at the sub-station and an empty tin of Larsen Lartex injection resin found in the area.
