Action on sanitary wear for girls in developing world

by isleofman.com 25th April 2015

The local branch of a charity is looking for everyday items to provide hygenic sanitary wear for young girls in poverty stricken parts of Africa.
Australian charity Days for Girls is hosting a free brunch this morning (Sat) from 10.30 at the Philip Christian Centre in Peel for anyone who'd like to help.
The charity is hoping for old bedsheets, flannelette, cotton or good quality underwear to turn into reusable sanitary products.
