Dredging of marina to continue on Saturday

Dredging of Peel marina and the transportation of silt to the temporary storage facility at Poortown will continue this Saturday.
 
The dredging and haulage contractors and Department of Infrastructure staff will be operating to a similar timetable as weekdays:

Dredging is scheduled to start at 07:30am, although no lorries will depart the quayside before 08:00am tomorrow. Road sweepers will be deployed throughout the day and work will finish at 5:30pm.
 
The Direction issued by the Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture allows for Saturday working and all parties are available on 25th April and are keen to maintain the excellent progress achieved to date.
 
The Department of Infrastructure expressed their thanks to Peel boat owners for their continued cooperation and assistance.
