Nedbank Private Wealth has announced that it has won Best UK Private Bank at the prestigious City of London Wealth Management Awards 2015. The awards were announced in March at a Gala Dinner at The Guildhall and were hosted by television presenter, Natasha Kaplinsky.
Robert Currie, head of private banking UK, said: “At Nedbank Private Wealth, we always put our clients first and this award is a strong, independent endorsement of our team’s ongoing commitment to this aim. The award also reflects our unique integrated banking and wealth management service, Focus, which can be tailored to suit each client’s individual requirements. Clients can choose from an extensive range of financial services including international banking, discretionary and execution-only investment dealing and settlement services.”
The purpose of the City of London Wealth Management Awards is to recognise and promote the quality of service provided by the UK’s best wealth management companies and individuals. The awards provide an independent endorsement of each company as the winners are determined by online votes from the general public. Voting took place over a two week period in February 2015 and the poll was reviewed by an independent panel of judges. This year a record number of votes were cast.
Nedbank Private Wealth’s international head office is located in the Isle of Man, where a growing team of 150 personnel support its expanding operations across the Isle of Man, Channel Islands, UK and Middle East.
Nedbank Private Wealth’s international reputation continues to develop strongly with an ever growing list of outstanding, internationally recognised achievements such as: accreditation under the Best Companies standard, one of only 276 companies to achieve this across the UK; holder of the Investors in People Gold standard, which is the highest level of accreditation awarded; plus Best in Class for Integrated Banking Service for its multi-award-winning Focus service in the Professional Adviser International Fund and Product Awards 2014.
Greg Horton, managing director of Nedbank Private Wealth International, elaborated: “The Focus service offers the most innovative way of meeting a client’s banking and wealth management requirements, and has seen growth of almost ?1 billion over the past two years with total holdings across our client base using Focus now approaching ?3 billion.”
