Trial for man over daughter's death in road crash

A Ballaugh man accused of causing the death of his 10-year-old daughter will stand trial in the autumn.
Raymond French denies charges of manslaughter and causing the death by dangerous driving of Alexis French in a collision with a bus near Castletown in October 2013.
The 45 year-old also denies causing serious bodily harm to the driver of the bus, by dangerous driving.
Mr French, who is in a wheelchair with injuries he sustained in the incident, has been bailed and his trial is due to start on 1st October.
