Police investigation after man found unconscious in street

by isleofman.com 20th April 2015
A 35 year-old man remains in a serious condition in hospital after being found lying unconscious on the pavement outside Ramsey Town Hall.

He was discovered by police at around twenty past nine on Saturday night in Parliament Square, having sustained serious head injuries.

Early enquiries indicate he was not the victim of a crime but actually suffered the injuries in a fall.

He remains in ITU where his condition is described as serious.

Police were called by a passer-by and think others in the area may have seen what happened – in particular a man outside the Trawlerman chip shop at the time.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Ramsey police station on 812234.
