A 35 year old man is in ITU at Noble's Hospital after being discovered unconscious outside the town hall in Ramsey.

Police were called to Parliament Square at about 9.20pm last night (Saturday) where the man was found with serious head injuries. He remains in a serious condition.

A police spokesman said: 'Early enquiries indicate that he had sustained his injuries in a fall, and he was not the victim of a crime. The emergency services were summoned by a passer-by. It is thought that there may have been other people in the area who have seen what happened.'

A man who was thought to be outside the Trawlerman chippie at the time has been asked to contact police, along with anyone who witnessed the incident.
