ACSP’s May seminar to examine cyber risk and electronic fraud

The Association of Corporate Service Providers has arranged a seminar for Thursday May 21st on the subject: ‘Cyber Risks and Electronic Fraud – Risk Management for CSPs’.

The seminar will be with Julian Brown and Jonathan Pestell of Markel International Insurance Company Limited and Phil Tompsett of Aon, Isle of Man.

Julian Brown is a senior professional and financial risks insurance underwriter with 25 years’ experience of the London market. As well as underwriting on behalf of Markel and Syndicate 3000 at Lloyd’s he is lead insurer for a number of CSPs, trust companies, administrators and accountants in the Isle of Man and the Channel Islands.

Jonathan Pestell heads the Markel claims team for financial services and construction risks and has a wealth of industry knowledge, notably an appreciation of the commercial and practical considerations of claims handling.

Phil Tompsett is head of Aon’s Isle of Man commercial division with more than 30 years’ experience as an underwriter and broker and as European risk manager for one of the world’s largest companies.

Sponsored by Dougherty Quinn the seminar will be at the Upper Hall, Loch Promenade Church, Douglas with registration at 12noon for a 12.30pm prompt start. Subject to the number of questions and contributions from the audience the event is expected to finish around 1.30pm.
