Jury retires to consider verdict in murder trial

The jury in a murder trial has adjourned to consider its verdict.

Forty-six-year-old Ian Anderson denies murdering 60-year-old Neil Roberts from Ballabeg, in late 2013.

Today (Thurs 16th) Deemster Alistair Montgomerie finished his case summary of the trial, which has lasted almost five weeks.

The 12 person jury has been instructed by the Deemster that its verdict has to be unanimous under Manx law.
