Silt meeting tonight!

by isleofman.com 16th April 2015
A public meeting in the west of the Island tonight will discuss the Department of Infrastructure’s dredging operations at Peel harbour.

Called by German Commissioners, the event takes place at St John’s Methodist Hall starting at 7.30pm.

It’s in the wake of complaints about spills of contaminated silt onto roads, storage ponds at Poortown and the DoI’s information releases during the work.

Chairman of the German board, Matthew Wadsworth, says he’s expecting a big turnout:Clip 1
