Crushing defeat for Peel

by isleofman.com 16th April 2015
St. George's are now odds-on favourites to retain the Canada Life Premier League title.
That's after rivals Peel suffered their first defeat of the campaign losing 2-1 at Old Boys.
Callum Stewart netted both goals for the home side with Kerron Christian grabbing an injury-time consolation for the westerners.
It means St. George's stay top of the table one point ahead of Peel.
Next Wednesday sees both sides play their final fixtures - St. George's away at Laxey while Peel travel to St. Mary's.
Manx Radio Football correspondent Tony Mepham says Geordies have the destiny of the title in their own hands:-
Elsewhere in the top flight, Ramsey won 4-3 at Michael and St. Mary's edged another seven goal thriller at Laxey.
Division Two Champions Marown were presented with the trophy after a 1-0 win at home to Colby - Niall Quayle with the winner.
That result and Douglas Royal winning 6-3 against Onchan at Ballafletcher means Colby miss out on a top four finish and a place in the Paul Henry Gold Cup semi-finals.
Douglas Athletic boosted their promotion hopes with a 7-0 thrashing of Foxdale and must now hope their opponents do them a favour against Ramsey Youth Centre next week.Clip 1
