Shipping boss declares for South Douglas

by isleofman.com 16th April 2015
An experienced ship’s captain who will contest the South Douglas by-election says he’ll bring decades of business experience to the Keys – if he’s voted in.

Captain Buchholz says he was inspired to stand after battling to set up Ellan Vannin Lines as a rival ferry operator to the Steam Packet Company.

He says infrastructure, transport – and the relationship between government and Island businesses – are top of his political priorities:Clip 1
