A golf day at Douglas golf course has raised ?640 for Douglas Mayor Stan Cain’s mayoral charity appeal.

At the after-match dinner he presented trophies to the winning team of Steve Broadbent, Peter Clague, Les McMurdo and Tom Ross, who won with 92 points.

Charities to benefit are Cruse Bereavement Care, Douglas Live at Home Scheme and St Mary's Lourdes Youth.
