The Manx ICT Association is launching a new series of events.
Called Midweek MICTA, the latter part stands for Meet, Influence, Connect, Teach And... soup.
It's billed as a chance to network with your peers, get some complimentary soup and, in this instance, watch podcasts of a couple of recent TEDTalks.
The first, entitled 'Can we create new senses for humans?', is by neuroscientist David Eagleman and explores the possibility of increasing the amount of visual information humans can take in.
The second, by Joseph DeSimone, sees him talk about a new technique which could revolutionise 3D printing.
Midweek MICTA takes place on Wednesday in the lecture theatre at The Forum on Mount Havelock.
To register for the event go to eventbrite.co.uk and search for Midweek MICTA.
