Unemployment down, but construction sector jobs still lacking

by isleofman.com 10th April 2015
There was good news on the jobs front in the Isle of Man last month, as the number of people out work dropped.
In March, 865 people were registered as unemployed, 65 fewer than February and 196 fewer than March last year.
It's the lowest March figure for seven years, according to the government's statistics.
Construction still seems to be struggling somewhat, though, with around 15% of the overall figure being people looking for work in that sector.
Economic Development Minister Laurence Skelly says work is being done to improve things in construction:Clip 1
