More sailing disruptions today as the technical problems with Manannan continue to effect the Steam Packet's schedule.
All of Bank holiday Mondays sailings to Liverpool have been cancelled due to the problems with the water jet propulsion system. Repairs will involve removal and replacement of parts.
Steam Packet engineers had hoped to have Manannan operational by this morning as divers carried out underwater repairs overnight but found the damage to be more extensive than previously identified and is now likely that sailings over the next few days may also need to be cancelled.
Announcements regarding any further cancellations are expected later on Monday.
