TT roadworks underway

by isleofman.com 6th April 2015

The Police are reminding motorists that the Mountain Road is closed for a week as essential TT roadworks and signage can take place ahead of the June Festival.

The DOI say the improvements they are undertaking include the resurfacing and re-profiling of the carriageway at the Keppel Gate section of the course.

Work is scheduled to start at 8am on Bank Holiday Monday 6th April and the road will be subject to a full closure, 24 hours a day, from the Creg-ny-Baa through to Ramsey Hairpin until 6pm on Sunday 12 April.

The road may reopen earlier if the work is finished ahead of schedule.
