Pokerstars to enter US this year

by isleofman.com 2nd April 2015

Pokerstars’ owner says it hopes to launch a US version of the poker site by autumn this year.
The Chairman and chief executive of Amaya Gaming David Baazov, says he expects to be up and running in New Jersey later this year.
PokerStars is currently going through the state’s licensing process, and Amaya is also lobbying to reform egaming laws in California and Pennsylvania.
Amaya says it’s targeting former American PokerStars players for a fantasy sports game, which it’s planning to launch in time for this year’s NFL season.
