March ended 'benign' winter

by isleofman.com 2nd April 2015

The Met Office says the Island’s had a much more cheerful winter than it could normally expect.
The latest figures released by the forecasters at Ronaldsway show we had much more sunshine than normal last month – following an extra-sunny November, December, January and February.
March had 147 hours of sun, compared to the long term average of 115 hours.
Although it was half an inch of rain drier than usual, March was also windier and slightly colder than usual.
