Gambling Commission suspends licence

by isleofman.com 31st March 2015

The UK’s Gambling Commission says it’s suspended a Manx company’s gaming licence as it investigates whether its operator is fit to carry out its activities.
The commission says Metro Play Limited's licence for its 666bet website, has been suspended pending a review and the site can still pay any outstanding winners and return any outstanding cash to customers.
The move comes after one of 666bet’s directors, Paul Bell, was arrested as part of a police operation in the Island, the UK and Channel Islands.
Meanwhile, Sky Bet League One side Leyton Orient says it’s pulled out of a shirt sponsorship deal with 666bet that it signed last August following the Gambling Commission’s decision.
