by isleofman.com 1st April 2015
A Castletown man accused of murder has told the jury at his trial he doesn't know whether he caused the death of the victim.
Ian Anderson, 46, denies the murder of Neil Roberts, who was 60 and from Ballabeg, in December 2013.
Mr Roberts' body was found at Mr Anderson's home in Queen Street, Castletown.
Linda Watts prosecuting, is cross-examining Mr Anderson, and this morning asked him if he regrets what happened.
Mr Anderson said he did regret Mr Roberts' death but, when prompted, said he did not know if he had caused it.
The trial at Douglas courthouse continues.
