The Equiom Group has been shortlisted for two categories in the prestigious Citywealth Magic Circle Awards.

The trust and corporate services provider is in the running for ‘Trust Company of the Year – Independent’ and Equiom’s well known Group Managing Director, Sheila Dean, has been shortlisted in the ‘Woman of the Year’ category.

The high profile awards recognise the excellence of individuals and companies in the private wealth sector.  The second stage of the process is now open and it involves online voting at www.citywealthmag.com. Voting closes on Friday 10th April.

Sheila commented: “It is a great compliment to receive this recognition from a judging panel of ten global industry experts, both for the business and personally. The past few months have seen a number of major developments for Equiom, with the extension of our Yachting and Aviation teams as well as the Group’s expansion into Hong Kong and Guernsey, which has strengthened our service offering internationally.

The winners will be announced at a prestigious dinner in London in May which is expected to attract over 400 guests representing 140 organisations including leading law firms, trust companies, family offices, tax advisers, investment managers and bankers in the wealth sector to recognise the achievements of the industry during the past year.

This is the second time Equiom has been recognised in the Magic Circle Awards, after Sheila Dean was named runner-up in the ‘Woman of the Year’ category just last year.  Equiom was also named ‘Trust Company of the Year – Isle of Man’ at the recent Citywealth International Financial Centre Awards in January 2015.
