The vice-chairman of German commissioners has criticised government over preparations at a site to take silt dredged from Peel Harbour.
The Department of Infrastructure began work on Poortown Road last weekend, but commissioners say they knew nothing about it.
They claim the site will be used to dump dredged material from Peel Marina once the department gives three weeks notice.
