Laurence Skelly MHK, the Minister for Economic Development, has today announced Alf Cannan is to join his department following the retirement of Alan Crowe as a Member of the Legislative Council.
Talking of the changes the Minister commented:
‘May I take this opportunity to thank Alan for his support. His extensive knowledge of financial services and political experience have proved very valuable. I wish him all the best for the future.
‘I am delighted that Alf Cannan is joining the team. He brings valuable business experience.
‘Leonard Singer takes over the responsibilities previously undertaken by Alan. I have also taken the opportunity to change some of the other delegations.
‘I look forward to working with this revised team to grow our economy.’
