Champions in Ballafletcher goal-fest

Reigning champions Douglas Royal kept alive their hopes of retaining the Warehouse Fitness league title on Sunday.
In a goal-fest at Ballafletcher, they ran out 9-6 winners over battling Old Boys.
Hat-tricks from Donna Shimmin and Angela Waite, two goals from Rebecca Cole and one from Leanne Quayle ensured victory.
The prolific Helen Cooper hit four for the visitors with Heather Parker joining her on the scoresheet with a double of her own.
Gymns registered a 7-0 win over Colby at Station Road.
Most of the damage was done in the first half as the Tromode side clock up six of their goals.
The victory was secured courtesy of goals from Lauren Miller (three), Eleanor Gawne (two), Nicky Naden and Kayleigh Whitehead.

Colby A and Peel will contest the Paddy Power Masters’ FA Cup final after defeating Braddan and Douglas & District respectively.
Noel Gill, Chris McKenna and Chris Kneen found the net for the Arbory outfit with Geoff Murphy and Gary Blackburn replying for Braddan.
Peel had an easier run with a 6-0 success, thanks to goals from Nick Hurt (two), Clifford Dunn, Neil Dudley, Scott Mylchreest and Gary Smith.
