A Castletown man accused of murder will give more evidence in his trial at Douglas Courthouse today (Monday).
Ian Anderson, 46, denies the murder of 60-year-old Ballabeg man Neil Roberts.
His body was found by police at Mr and Mrs Anderson's former Castletown home in Queen Street, in late 2013.
Mr Anderson was questioned by defence advocate Dawn Jones who will continue questioning him this morning.
The jury heard about Mr and Mrs Anderson's turbulent relationship throughout 2013.
Mr Anderson suspected his wife was having an affair with Mr Roberts.
Text messages between Mr Roberts and Alison Anderson were read to the jury last week suggesting an intimate relationship. They both denied an affair.
Mr Anderson recalled in September 2013, Mrs Anderson left him a note saying 'I'm sorry' and she moved in with Mr Roberts for a couple of weeks.
Later she came back to Queen Street and told Mr Anderson she'd made a mistake and still insisted she was just friends with Mr Roberts.
The trial continues this morning at 10am.Clip 1
