Candidate wants to make Island a fairer place

by isleofman.com 30th March 2015
The LibVan candidate in the North Douglas by-election wants to make the Island a fairer place.
Maire Booth moved to the Island in 2003 and has worked in the shipping and hospitality industries and has also worked for government.
She's been a longstanding member of the party and is currently its spokesperson for social care.
Mrs Booth would like to see local authority housing such as that in Willaston modernised and is convinced party politics is the way forward for the Island.
The other candidates to have declared in Douglas North so far are Douglas councillor David Ashford and Island businessman Ralph Peake.Clip 1
