Man accused of murder will give more evidence tomorrow

by isleofman.com 29th March 2015
The trial of a man accused of murder continues at Douglas Courthouse tomorrow (MON).
Forty-six-year-old Ian Anderson denies the murder of Neil Roberts, who was 60, from Ballabeg in late 2013.
The trial will hear more from the accused tomorrow when he will answer more questions from the defence.
The jury has heard Mr Anderson describe a roller coaster relationship with his wife Alison in the months leading up to the incident.
Text messages between Mrs Anderson and Mr Roberts were read to the court last week, suggesting the two were having an affair.
Mr Anderson recalled many occasions when he was suspicious that the pair were having a relationship but they both consistently denied it.
When defence advocate Dawn Jones asked Mr Anderson why he didn't leave his wife, he couldn't answer. He compared his marriage to a heroin addiction.
The trial resumes tomorrow morning at 10 o'clock.
