by isleofman.com 27th March 2015

An inquest into the death of a Ramsey woman who died after falling into Douglas inner harbour earlier this month, has been opened at Douglas courthouse.
The hearing before Coroner of Inquests John Needham was told 40 year old Kim Lesley Hills died in the intensive care unit at Noble's Hospital on 17 March, two days after the incident.
Police investigations into the death of Ms Hills, a sales assistant from North Shore Road in Ramsey, are continuing.
Mr Needham read evidence from the hospital that the likely cause of death was multiple organ failure, as a result of drowning. The medical cause has yet to be established.
The hearing was told Ms Hills was intoxicated by alcohol at the time of the incident.
The inquest was adjourned to a date to be fixed and the coroner sent Ms Hills' family his sincere condolences.
