Questions over Blackpool terminal fixtures

Blackpool airport’s owners are facing questions after announcing they’ll auction off all the fixtures and fittings in the main airport building.

Last week, Citywing announced it would resume flights to the Lancashire airport after it scrapped the route last year when the facility closed.

But Balfour Beattie says it plans to auction off the contents of the main terminal - including fire engines, fuel bowsers - in April.

Citywing says it’ll use another building when passengers start flying to the resort next week.

But Blackpool MP Gordon Marsden wants to know what's going on:Clip 1
