Walking the Walk for Hospice

by isleofman.com 25th March 2015

Pictured are some of the walkers that are "walking the walk" for Hospice and Rebecca House by participating in the Manx Telecom Parish Walk on 20th June 2015 in their very fetching hi-viz tabards.

Hospice, including Rebecca House, needs to raise ?3.5 million each year to look after adults and children facing a life limiting or life threatening illness so challenges such as the Parish Walk, with walkers getting sponsored, are very much appreciated. Hospice is delighted to be one of the nominated charities for this massive event on the Isle of Man too.

To sponsor any of the walkers please visit www.hospice.org.im/donate.

Some of the walkers have set up their own online giving pages. These include Charlene Moneta and her aunty Lorraine Sloan who will be celebrating a special birthday – to donate to her page please visit:  https://www.justgiving.com/CharleneMoneta-ParishWalk/

Linda Harris will be walking for the children’s hospice, Rebecca House – to donate to her page please visit https://www.justgiving.com/Linda-Harris1/

Mary thanked all the walkers, wished them the best of luck in their training and on the big day. If you are walking the walk and want to help support your local Hospice ring Mary on 647431 or email fundraising@hospice.org.im.
