Second dog attack in a week

by isleofman.com 25th March 2015
Police are warning people to keep their pets under control, after a second incident of sheep worrying this week.

Last Friday, officers warned about the danger of letting dogs run free in the countryside during lambing season after a pregnant ewe and two unborn lambs were killed in Onchan.

Today, however, another such incident has been reported – although no details have yet been released about the attack.

Force Incident Manager Sergeant Gary Heaton is reminding people to keep their dogs on a lead at what’s a crucial time in the farming year.
