Loaghtan ewe and unborn lambs killed in attack

A Manx Loaghtan Ewe that had been due to lamb has been attacked and killed in Onchan.
The two unborn lambs also did not survive following the incident on a farm in the Little Mill Road area on Friday.
Police believe a dog went onto the land sometime between 8.30am and 1pm on Friday and say the farmer and his family are deeply saddened by the loss.
Anyone who was walking their dogs in the area at the time or may have seen dog walkers are asked to call 631212.
Dog owners are being reminded to keep them under control in areas near to farmlands.
