Reception students at Willaston Primary School traded uniforms for graduation gowns as part of the Families and Schools Together (FAST) programme.
Fourteen families took part in the scheme - funded by Save the Children - which lasted for eight weeks.
The initiative uses a number of activities to boost relationships between parents, children and teachers and improve results in the classroom.
Head at the school is Rose Burton:Clip 1
