The Southern 100 Club has received a large donation to help fund a new covered stand for spectators at the Billown course.
A cheque for ?10,000 was presented to the organisers by former MHK and MLC Eddie Lowey on behalf of the Cockfield Trust.
It will be the 60th or Diamond Jubilee meeting for the Southern 100 in July.
