Police are currently investigating a report of a shoplifting incident which occurred at around 8:30am on Thursday 5th March 2015 in the Spar Shop on Bucks Road, Douglas. A male stole a number of items by putting them into his backpack. A lady with dark hair and wearing smart attire witnessed the man stealing these items and kindly reported it to the store manager. Police are appealing for this lady to please make contact so that the matter can be further discussed with her.
The Police take these incidents seriously and PC319 Everden would like to reassure the public that enquiries are progressing.
