Cash and business records seized

Police are continuing to investigate multiple fraud and money laundering offences as part
of a major multi-jurisdiction operation.


Searches are continuing today (Thursday) at premises in Hill Street, Douglas and Manor Park in Onchan. Across the UK, Guernsey and the Isle of Man, 13 search warrants have been executed and seven people arrested, including one man locally.


Police say 'significant' amounts of cash along with business records have been seized in relation to an alleged ?21million VAT and money laundering fraud.
